I wish you all a great Tuesday! I hope you have a productive weekday! As for me, I'll be honest with you that the last week has been hard for me to do the least productive things for myself. My energy is practically zero and I definitely need to do something about it :)
Nevertheless, I'm here and let's get started!

Importance of memes
Memes as powerful marketing tool
Who knows how to make memes is worth their in gold
1. Importance of memes
Memes are an important tool for communication and engagement on social media platforms, and Twitter is no exception. In the context of Web3, memes play an even more significant role in driving conversation and engagement on the platform.
One reason why memes are important for Twitter in the Web3 context is that they can help simplify complex concepts and ideas related to crypto and NFTs. These topics can be difficult for the average person to understand, and memes can help make them more accessible and digestible. Memes are a fun and creative way to convey information, and they can help break down barriers to entry for those who may be intimidated by the technical aspects of Web3.
Another reason why memes are important for Twitter in the Web3 context is that they can help build community and foster a sense of belonging. Memes are often used as a way to signal membership in a particular group or community, and they can help users feel more connected to others who share their interests and values. In Web3, where community building is a key part of many blockchain projects, memes can be a powerful tool for bringing people together and strengthening social bonds.
2. Memes are powerful marketing tool
In my last thread I already told how to make memes a powerful marketing tool, but nevertheless, I have something to add on this topic.

If you create your own NFT project or are engaged in building a personal Web3 Brand, the use of memes can significantly reveal in an easy format that you have in mind.
You don't have to clutter up your profile with memes to make it work (unless your page is all about memes, in which case it's OK!), and you don't have to be intimidated by the fact that such content may conflict with the content that you produce. Even on the most serious profiles, like Elon Musk, memes are a driving force, and he takes full advantage of that!
I don't use memes that often, but if I do, it's overwhelmingly a video format with a funny caption.
I think it's a more engaging option for the audience. And if it's banger enough, it could very well swirl to a larger audience as Twitter increasingly encourages content with short videos.
3. Who knows how to make memes is worth their in gold
One of the most striking examples I bullish on is Memeland. Everything is built around memes, and the community is endlessly generating memes on the 9GAG platform and in Memeland Discord. You can think of it as endless free marketing.
The people in their large community are content makers of sorts, and those who do it on a regular basis are worth their weight in gold.
In my own experience, it opened some new doors for me when I drew the Golden Shark from the draft art of Captainz by Memeland.
To my surprise, it became a Bananark meme, and with it, the "face" of Captainz.
After that, people started making fanarts on it and I just enjoyed seeing people catching fun with it as much as possible.

On the server of Memeland I was assigned the role of "Community Artist", and this is definitely a new feature for me, although I still do not fully understand how to use it haha :)
Nevertheless it's a new step in building my Web3 Brand as an artist and such a seemingly simple art acted as a meme and it worked as a marketing tool because of its virality.
